Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney.
England star.
Manchester United star.
And England's new hope for glory.

He started off 2010 with 4 goals against Hull at Old Trafford in January.
Scored the winner in the Carling Cup final against Aston Villa in February.
Bagged 2 brilliant goals Ac Milan home/away in the Champions League in March.
But in May, injures to Wayne's groin and ankle nearly put his world cup dream's in taters.
This costed his club Manchester united terribly, by not retaining the Premiership title and going out of Europe to the old enemy German club Bayern Muchen.
Rooney did go the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, but didn't score and again England fail to life the dream of 1966.

Then didn't score in Manchester United's first home game of the season against Newcastle United, a club which Wayne has great goal scoring record against.

Then made the comment that socked England and the world by saying: "I wont to leave Manchester United"
Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona shone massive interest in Wayne.

BUT, then shockingly signed a 5 year contract at United.

Can England win the 2014 world cup?

Every 4 years England fans have hope of being crowded world champions, but something  always happens which makes the players cry and sop. Like, Mardonna's handball at 86, Chris Waddle's penalty miss against Germany at Italy 90 and penalties at Germany 06. And most likely England's worst ever world cup performance at South Africa 2010, losing to the Germans yet again 4-1. Despite Chelsea's Frank Lampard's goal was disallowed much to Germany's delight.

In South Africa England didn't have, discipline, creativity, determination and most of all the effort to play good football. England for me needed players like Adam Johnson and Theo Walcott running down the wings and making opportunists  for Wayne Rooney and Jerome Defoe to score goals and make us lot in England happy to be English.

So changes need to happen now for success. Things that need to change are the:
1. The manger.
2. Start playing more new young players. E.G: Andy Carrol, Ashley Young, Mark Albrighion and Kieran Gibbs.
3. Have a winter brake.
4. Don't make the players think as if it's all about winning.
5. Work on passing the ball in shorter areas.
6. Make the full-backs defend like good defenders.
7. Keep all the best players in England so they always play the same style and tempo for club and international.

Manchester City Transfer Rumours and Predictions January 2011

City will bid 30 Million in January, for the Bosnian Edin Dzeko. The striker has scored 65 goals in all competitions in the last 2 seasons for German club Wolfsberg. Despite their being interest from big Italian clubs like: Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus. Wolfsberg manger Steven Mcclaren has said: "We will only agree offers over 27 million for Edin." In my opinion Edin Dzeko will join City, not because of the money but for the benefit of playing for a better team and playing at a higher level of football. Under Mr Mancini and his superstars of the future.

City are also interested in Spanish striker Fernando Torres, other clubs like: Real Madrid, Barcelona and Premier League champions Chelsea are all still interested in Torres. Possibly 50 million will be offered by City for El nino in January which will mean the end for Emmanuel Adebayor and his City career. In my opinion I'm not that sure where the injury phone striker will go in January, but he will definitely leave Anfield.
